Special wooden frames, imported from France, are applied around the perimeter of the walls, windows, and doors. The walls are then covered with 100% natural cotton padding which keeps the wall upholstery flat and makes the walls soft to the touch. The fabric is carefully cut and sewn together to create a uniform piece, and subsequently stretch over the walls.
Couture For Homes specializes in "Clean Finish" Wall Upholstery, which is a high skilled technique that enables a clean edge around the walls and opening for a sharp look, without using any trimming, double-welt or cord.
We are very well experienced with a wide range of fabrics, such as silk, velvet, cotton, linen and even leather. Fabrics with patterns or stripes are carefully cut and sewn together to create a uniform piece that is both architecturally correct and pleasing to the eye.
